Hi, I'm new to MS Word (I have 2002). I've figured out how to save most of
my preferences as defaults, but how to I change the Horizontal alignment? I
want it justified instead of left alignment. I see how to change the
vertical default setting, and I know how to change alignment, but I want to
make it my default. TIA for any help. :-)

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/CustomizeNormalTemplate.htm, but
I would strongly advise against doing this. At least, I would advise against
modifying the Normal style. Instead, modify Body Text and apply that style
to the default empty paragraph in Normal.dot.
