I posted this under General Questions, then realized that it may be more
appropriate here.  Sorry for double posting.

I am using Word 2003 on Windows XP SP2 and an HP Laserjet 4250PS printer.
When I select the Print command from the File menu, there's a very long delay
before the print dialog box appears.  It can be up to a minute.  Using the
Print button on the toolbar works fine.  The delay doesn't seem to occur in
other Office 2003 programs, just Word.  Thank you for any advice!

I deleted a disabled Dymo label printer and the problem went away.
