Every time I try to compose or forward an email (Outlook 2003), my toolbars
rearrange.  I also would like to get ride of the Acrobat toolbar in Outlook
and Word 2003 (I still want Word to print to Acrobat to create a *.pdf
document).  I currently have 3 toolbar rows in addition to the menu row.

I have tried SHIFT/FILE/SAVE ALL.   I have also tried going to the registry,
but I can't fine the last couple of folders in the path to get rid of the
Acrobat toolbar.

Any ideas?

Graham, the zap file does prevent the Acrobat 6 toolbar from loading as you
described, and the warning window does pop up as you indicated it would.  It
also cures the "wandering" toolbar issue.

What I was hoping was a registry change that would accomplish the same goal
and avoid the error popup when loading Word and Outlook.  However, I cannot
find the key listed in the paper referenced in your answer.  The closest I
can get is - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Office/11.0/Word.  The
subfolders are InstallRoot and Text Converters.

Thanks for your help!

The registry hack is for an unpatched Acrobat 7! You have Acrobat 6. This is
clearly indicated on the page.

What you want is probably the Plan C approach.

Acrobat uses a different strategy for integrating with Outlook not covered
in the web page, which concerns Word.

Thank you for your courteous and quick reply.  Since I don't have Acrobat in
my Word Startup folder, approach A seems to be the best solution.

Thanks again for your help.
