Custom Style List in Word 2003

I've created a custom style list in normal.dot which means that when
'Custom' is chosen at the bottom of the style task pane in the 'Show:'
field only the custom styles appear in the pane.   When a user changes
the setting in the 'Show' field and then tries to return to the custom
list, the 'Format Settings' window pops up and there doesn't seem to be
a way to return to the original custom list.  Does anybody know a way?

Thanks.

This is a little misleading. Selecting "Custom" *always* brings up the
Format Settings dialog. In that dialog, you can select what styles you want
to be "available." These styles will be displayed when users choose the
"Available styles" option. You can (perhaps) also determine visibility for
"Styles in use" and "All styles" by changing the list displayed in Format
Settings.

Thanks.  That's just what I needed to know.
