The work that I do (text-intensive) requires the use of Standard & Format &
Drawing toolbars, so I want them to be my default View-Toolbar settings.  No
matter how many times I set them, Format & Draw "disappear" so I have to
continuously click on View Toolbars to reset each one.  How do I set these to
be the default on my desktop?   Note:  I also want these 3 toolbars to be the
default when I open Word documents that are Outlook attachments.

The changes are saved in Normal.dot, when you close Word.
If you have Adobe Acrobat 7 installed, the add-in might keep Word from
saving changes to Normal.dot.
Adobe has an update that fixes the issue, or you could save Normal.dot
manually (...hold down the Shift key, then do a "File > Save all").

Hi Klaus,

I've got the same problem, only I have Adobe 6.0 installed.  Can you
please read my queries in this group under "Adobe Toolbar" and see if
you can help me?  Thank you.
