Can anyone help me!!!!

I have created my Styles as a Styles toolbar available in normal.dot.
However, even though the toolbar is shown (and the buttons) the styles are
not applying to the selected text in a new document.

Why is this, Can you create a style toolbar for the normal.dot template?

Is there a button I need to click to show these styles available in the
Styles & Formatting task pane?

I have checked all the style options (including All Styles) and my
customised styles are not appearing.

Can someone please help?

Many thanks in advance,
Nat

Hi Nat,

Unless you specifically saved the styles in your Normal.dot, they aren't
available in it. Generally, styles are saved only in the document you're
working on when you create them.

But you should be able to copy them from that source document (assuming you
saved it) to Normal.dot, using Tools/Templates and Addins/Organizer.
