I am trying to save a simple changes to a template.

My goal is whenever I create a new document, the justify text should be
the normal setting.

Can't make it work. Tried saving as template, normal.dot

Is this really where the setting is?

TIA

See
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/CustomizeNormalTemplate.htm.

Be aware that this will also affect things like labels.
