I don't like using the Print (immediately) button; I prefer the Print...
button.  In the past I would delete the Print (immediately) button and
replace it with the Print... button.

In Word 2003, I click on Customize, remove the Print (immediately) button,
add the Print...button and click OK.  Now the standard toolbar has both
buttons.  It keeps putting the Print (immediately) button back.

Is this a characteristic on Word 2003 and I'll have to accept it, or is
something wrong?

When you 'remove' the print button (you can do that by clicking the arrow at
the right end of the standard toolbar then add or remove buttons and uncheck
Print) do you then go on to save normal.dot? If not it will come back next
time you start Word.

Thanks!  It worked beautifully.  I guess it's hard to break old habits.  I've
never used the add/delete buttons before.  I've always done it by customize
and dragging a button off.
