I have a new LCD 14:9 monitor and have just installed Office 2007 on my
vista using computer.
In trying other display resolutions some distortions occur and the monitor
is happiest with 1440:900 resolution.
The eproblem is that the icons and their texts are so small I have
difficulties reading them. Is there a way to increase their size without
changing the resolution?

In the Windows Control Panel, click on Display and then on the Advanced
button on the Settings tab and change the DPI setting for the Display.

Since Gus is running Vista, he might need different instructions on where to
find DPI. :-(

Gus, if you haven't found the DPI setting yet... right-click the desktop and
choose Personalize. In the left side, under Tasks, click on Adjust font size
(DPI). The default is 96 DPI. Give 120 DPI a try. Note that some things
won't necessarily scale up correctly (especially tightly-programmed dialog
boxes and web pages), but you might find it easier on your eyes.

Thank you both for the fast response. I have changed the dpi and am happy
again.
