Has anyone figured out a way to eliminate the 50 or 60 table grid styles
that clutter up the recommend styles list?  Anytime I click one of these
styles the buttons under "Set whether style shows when viewing recommend
styles" go dim and are non-functional.

Hi Gregy,

These are the styles that appear in Table Tools=>Design=>Table Styles?
If I set any of these to 'restrict' in the Manage Styles dialog, for example all of the '74' series (Colorful Grid) built-in table
style, or a single one of then, then 'Limit Formatting to permitted styles' takes of the restricted table styles out of
availability, but not in the Styles tab recommended list.

I suspect this may be related to Word retaining its legacy table styles functionallity and not fully implementing the shared app
Office 2007 table styles.
