Was teaching in a computer lab today and was having everyone follow along in
creating a document.

We entered our text and changed the title to heading style 1 with no
problem.  When we went to change the signature line to heading 2 style
several of the computers did not have this style in the styles gallery.

The computers were all ghosted from a single machine so they began with
identical installations of Offfice 07.

What caused this problem?  Is there an easy way that at the beginning of
class, we can all reset office 07 to default settings so that everyone sees
the same things?

Thanks,

Prof. Hogue

The standard default styles are stored in normal.dot. Renaming the
individual normal.dotm files should get you all singing from the same hymn
sheet, but it will wipe out any user customisations.
