Can anyone explain (or is there a write-up anywhere) about the
difference between a Quick Style in Word 2007 and a traditional Style?

I can't get a Quick Style to do what I want, but the old-style Style
works just fine.  What is a Quick Style good for, anyway?

Thanks,  Tom Kreutz

Sorry.  I'm a dope.  Apparently I created a "Quick Style Set" in stead
of a "Quick Style".  By the way, can anyone help me get RID of a quick
Style Set?!  It certainly isn't obvious!!  Many thanks,  Tom

You can RIGHT click and delete the quick style OR
Click on CHANGE Styles Style Set  select and delete.

Dear Summer,

When one right clicks on a Quick Style SET (not a Quick Style, per
se), there is only one option available: "Add Gallery to Quick Access
Toolbar".  I can't figure out how to get rid of the set I just created!

  Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom,

When you create a named Quick Style set it is saved in a Word template (.dotx).  To remove one you can go the 'Quick Styles'
subfolder using Windows Explorer, or from inside of Word use the Ribbon Styles and select
Change Styles=>Style Set=>Save as Quick Style Set

Once there select the style set 'template' name and use the delete key on your PC then 'Cancel' out of the dialog.
