I have Office XP.
In the My Documents\My Music folder I have about 10 files of lyrics of songs
that I had downloaded from the Net.
Today I downloaded the lyrics of another song and Copy and Pasted into a
fresh file in the above folder. Suddenly music like symbols appeared before
and end of every line. The same had happened to all my other files of
lyrics. I can't get rid of those unwanted symbols. I do not want them.
Anything I can do about it.
TIA

Music symbols? My guess is that they are formatting characters - click the ¶
button or press CTRL+* or tools > options > view > uncheck all the
formatting marks.
