Hi
I have created a report template and added a Toolbar named "Styles". I have
saved the template as .dot file.
The toolbar has 5 buttons on it: Apply Heading 1, Apply Heading 2, Apply
Heading 3, Apply Body Text, Insert Table
All of them work when you open the document as .dot file, but when the
document is opened as a .doc file, the Apply Body Text doesn't work (it is a
macro that I created). It says "Could not open macro storage - Error 5981.
This is driving me nuts and was wondering if anyone has any idea why this
would happen and how to get around it.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

You don't need macros to apply styles to a toolbar. You can simply add the
styles to the toolbar.
What does "All of them work when you open the document as .dot file, but
when the document is opened as a .doc file, the Apply Body Text doesn't work
(it is a macro that I created)." mean. Are the macros saved in the template
along with the toolbar? Is that template available to people opening the
documents created from it?
