I'm having a problem with a workstation running Office
2000.  The problem is everytime I click on a link that
someone has sent me, it proceeds to launch Internet
Explorer 6.  However, it hangs right there.  The only way
I can get it to load the page is hit the Stop button and
then Refresh and the page loads.  This is very annoying.
All updates have been done to IE and Office 2000.  Can
anyone help me with this problem.

Thanks

G'day "Joanne" <jporporo@eohu.on.ca>,

I doubt it. You have provided no version numbers etc. As a technical
writer or coder/softie, we oft lament these tiny but important
details.

"I have a problem. Word does not work"

to paraphrase a few.

As a constant online helper (sorta akin to an MVP but not quite down
to their standard <Runs, Ducks and Laughs>) I can say with certainty
that these sorts of messages are FRUSTRATING.

The MAJOR problem in our road in this case, is your problem lies over
the sphere of a half-dozen apps that we dont known in toto. Hell, no
one person at MS knows em in toto either.

Personally, I find the same thing myself. Sometimes its just plain
telecoms. Ya know, if it dont work, try again...

Sorta puters exemplified really. Maybe examplified...

Anyway. If you can solve a problem so easily, ask yourself:

"In 100 years, who is gunna give a shot :-)"

"Joanne" <jporporo@eohu.on.ca> was spinning this yarn:
