changing default dictionary in Word 2000

Previous versions of word allowed an exclude dictionary to
be created.  I can find nothing similar in Word 2000.  
Basically, there are certain words I want flagged or
removed from the dictionary.  Any ideas?

It is still available - try a help search for "Specify a preferred spelling
for a word"
