Can anyone tell me how to set special page numbers.  I am
working on large document with two sections and numerous
chapters.  I am trying to set a page number that would
read 1-2.1 (for the first section, second chapter, page
1).  I've seen it done on other documents so I know it's
possible, just haven't figured it out.

Thanks in advance.

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Numbering/ChapterNumber.htm. This should get
you at least part of the way. If the chapters are numbered with
double-barreled numbers (1-2 in this example), then you should be home free.
