Hi,

We use Word 2000 and are networked using Windows Server
2000.  Our pc's are just used as terminals.

I would like to create customized outline numbered
schemes for our company, and make them available to
everyone on the network.  How do I do this?  And will the
customized numbering schemes I create appear in
everyone's bullets & numbering gallery?  Or will they
appear as a Style in the Format - Styles list?

Thanks very much,
Rosemary

Hi, Rosemary. Create styles for your numbering schemes, then save them in
templates. Users can go to Tools-Templates and Addins and use the styles in
the template now.

There's a bit more to it than Dream Boat's answer suggests. To create those
styles you have to follow some very specific procedures. See: How to create
numbered headings or outline numbering in your Word document
