Hi - I customized my heading styles to include numbering.
Worked fine until I opened the document on a different
computer - and some of my settings changed (like instead
of .5 align at tab in the numbering, it changed to .38).
I have noticed this happening before - any ideas why this
would happen? Thanks for your help.

Hi Rich
Set the numbering up for your headings following Shauna Kelly's instructions
at
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html
In particular, make sure you set the tabs and indents in the numbering
scheme, not using the Paragraph settings.
If you still get the problem, post back with details of Word version and the
format you are trying to set up - older versions may need macro code to
create the tab settings you want.
