I am trying to count a particular word in a word document and highlight it.
I would also like to superscript the word with the number count at which it
occurs.
i.e.
I shall1
We shall2
They shall3

Any help appreciated.

Pat,

Easy enough with the Find and Replace tool.  Lets use your
word "Still."  Type Still, press CTRL+SHIFT+"+" (this
toggles to superscript), Type Seq WordNum, select it (be
careful to only select Seq WordNum)and press CTRL+F9.
Press F9.  You should see Still1 (with the one
superscript).  Move cursor to the the right of the 1 and
Press CRTL+SHIFT+"+" again.

Now select Still1, copy it, then delete it.

Edit>Replace.
Type Still in the Find what box
Type ^c in the Replace with box
With cursor still in the Replace with box, press
More>Formate>Highlight

Click replace all.

All occurrences of still should now be still1
CTRL+a to select all
F9 to update fields

Does this work?

Clever! Might be a good idea to check the "Whole words only" box, though.

Good point.  Actually there is a better way yet.  Create an autotext of
Still1 (1 superscript with the SEQ field) highlighted, insert the Autotext,
copy it, delete it and then use ^c in an unformatted Replace field.  This
way you can easily add more intances of Still1 :-)
