I am currently working on a document that has 6 or 7
layers of numbering/lettering.  Each layer has a different
style.  I can't get the numbers to restart at various
places in the document.  Not only will the numbers/letters
not restart, but when the restart button is selected,
previous lists in the document revert back to a "not
restarted" status and the whole numbering/lettering scheme
is thrown off.

Please help if you know what to do!!
Thanks.

To make this work correctly, you must create an outline numbered list, with
each list level linked to the appropriate style. For detailed instructions
on how to set this up unbreakably, see
