I've got a document (using Word 2003). The first page is the title page,
second page is the table of contents, and the third page starts my report. I
do not want to include the title page or table of contents in the page
numbering and am having trouble getting the numbering to start at 1 even
though it's on the third page. Can anyone help?

I've tried inserting a section break on the second page and inserting the
page numbering on page 3. I've told it to start at 1, but it always starts at
2. Any ideas on how I can fix this so it starts at 1 on page 3?

Hi, Nikki.  See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NumberingFrontMatter.htm
.  Make sure the section break type is Next Page (not continuous or odd/even
page).
