Hi all,

I have a document which has a total of 16 pages. I have used the insert x of
y page numbers into the footers.  The problem is that the first 2 pages have
no page numbers and I don't want them to be counted in the total so my last
page reads page 14 of 14, but it now reads page 14 of 16.  I have sectioned
off the first page, second page and some other sections (for another
purpose).  I have tried a lot of different things but I can't figure it out.
I have also made sure to use the same as previous option for all sections.

Thanks

PS I also have a TOC on page 2.  (If that makes any difference at all)

Use the following field construction for the y

{ = { NUMPAGES } - 2 }

You must use Ctrl+F9 to insert each pair of field delimiters.

Hope this helps.
