Hello All

I have just noticed that, having gone into the page footer and clicked

insert autotext
Page X of Y

although the numbering appears correctly on screen, when I print the
document page 1 shows "Page 1 of 1", page 2 displays "Page 2 of 2", page 3
displaye "Page 3 of 3" etc. This happens in other documents also. Is it a
bug - and is there a workround?

Many thanks
Leslie Isaacs

There is a bug in Word that is different in different versions (including
different SRs).
See http://www.addbalance.com/word/pagexofy.htm or
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/AppErrors/PageXofY.htm for information on Page
X of Y problems. You may also want to take a look at:
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/PageNumbering.htm. If it applies
you may also want to look at
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/PageNumber0.htm.
