Hi,

I’m having a problem with page numbering in Word 2003.  In a document
with several sections the page numbering is some sections doesn’t begin with
page #1.  For example, the last page of section 5 appears as, “5-10” which is
correct.  Unfortunately, the first page of section 6 begins, “6-11” instead
of ‘6-1”.  I’ve tried to format the numbers in the footer but to no avail.
Even when I format it to start at page one it automatically reverts to “6-11”

Any ideas you have on have to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.
    Glenn.

Are you going to Format Page Number from the Header and Footer toolbar when
the insertion point is in a header/footer in Section 6 and changing it to
"Start at 1"?
