My research proposal contains two SEQ's, one for tables and the other
for figures. I would like to be able to either create a combined index
for both, or create a seperate index for each SEQ.

I typed the table and figure captions manually, but have formatted both
SEQ's using the same style.

When I insert a table of figures, I go to options and select the style
I used as the basis for creating the index.

When the index is created, it only lists the tables. The figures are
not included even though they are formatted with the same style.

Is this a hopeless case? I have read many posts in this NG about this
subject, but have not found any light!
