Hi

I have an document with manually typed header and footer when i try to
convert it through word header and footer, the alignment breaks and
extra new pages where inserted.

Is there anyway to convert all the typed header and footer to 'word
header and footer'.

Thanks in Advance

I assume you mean that the "header" and "footer" text were typed on each
page, and you must now remove these intrusions after putting the text in the
real header and footer where it belongs. It's possible that you can use Find
and Replace (possibly requiring a wildcard search) to find and remove this
text. What specifically is in each header and footer.
