Hi,

My document have one TOC and two table of figures each one for tables
and figures. When i update entire table in TOC, the formatting doesnot
lose away, but when i update entire table for figures the formatting
get losts.

Please help me how to have a consistent formatting in the TOC and table

of figures.

Thanks in Advance

Have you modified the Table of Figures paragraph style? Any formatting
applied directly will be lost when you update the table. The TOC styles are
set to update automatically, so you might not realize you had updated the
style by applying direct formatting, but the TOF style does not update
automatically.

Can i use TOC again instead of TOF, having only needed styles? If yes,
i have also tried it, but it still doesnot update the formatting.

Thanks for your time
