Is there an easy way to change the font within the 'number' of an
outline numbered list? To give an example:
1.2.3 Example
I would then like the '1' to appear in bold, the '2' in italic
superscript, and the '3' in 24 pt flashing Helvetica Bold. (Whether
this would be useful is an entirely different matter, but you get the
idea.)
As far as I could make out, Word's GUI only allows me to change the
entire 'number' uniformly. I have a hunch that what I need would
require some VBA-magic---but I don't have a clue as to where I should
begin. Is there anyone who can lend me a hand?
Kind regards,
Maarten

As far as I know, there is no way you can modify the font of part of a
numbering level, even with VBA, but you may want to ask in a
programming newsgroup, to be sure.
