Hi, everyone,
I'm interested in taking training so that I can better understand Word's
numbering feature. I often create new or modify existing templates and
am afraid to deal with the numbered styles because the feature seems
flaky, our inherited templates have perhaps been mis-constructed or have
become slightly corrupt through the years. Additionally, my template and
numbering experience and knowledge is somewhat piecemeal, consisting of
bits of stuff that I've acquired over the years: personal experience,
trial and error, tips from here and from colleagues, etc. I want to
formalize that as much as possible so that I have a more in-depth
understanding of this feature and so that I rely less on
chance/trial-and-error.
Do you have recommendations for quality training in how to
construct/modify templates where numbered Styles will have to be created
or altered?
Thanks.
