I have a list that will be numbered 1 -200.  How can I keep Word from
creating such a big gap with the tripple digit numbers?  It completely throws
off the columns.

Example:

1.  Words
2.  Words
.
.
100.               Words
101.               Words

In the Numbering dialog, set "Tab space after" and "Indent at" to
measurements that will accommodate longer numbers.
