I'm trying to create a firmwide normal.dot that includes lots of
autotext entries as well as several numbering schemes.  I have read
Shauna's article and still am having problems.  In Shauna's example, I
created the Heading 1, 2, 3 as shown.

I guess my problem comes in when I'm trying to use several different
numbering schemes.  Do I set paragraphs to Heading 1, 2, 3 and then
change the outline numbering format?  If so, how can I get the outline
numbering schemes to be the same on every pc.  It seems that they keep
changing.  I tried List styles but haven't figured that to work
right.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

It is not recommended to modify Normal.dot. Instead, set up a custom
template with the desired numbering defined and install it on each
user's computer.
