I have "Outline Numbered" numbering selected. How do I get a space between
these numbered sections? I desire this for a more visually appealing look.
When I enter a new line after a previous entry a new number is inserted. If I
delete that new number then my new space disappears. Or.. the spacing is huge
like two or three rows. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

Here is the sample text (I've shortened the sentences on purpose):

1.1.    "Company" or "Corporation" or "Business" means Calibration.
1.2.    "Common Shares" shall mean the common shares in the capital stock.
1.3.    "Board" shall mean the Board of Directors of the Corporation.
1.4.    "Articles" means the legal formation documents that were filed to.
1.5.    "this Agreement", "hereto", "herein", "hereby", "hereunder", "hereof",.
1.6.    "Special Directors' Resolution" shall mean a resolution passed at a.
1.7.    "Unanimous Directors' Resolution" shall mean a resolution passed at a.

I want it to look like this, but still have autonumbering active:

1.1.    "Company" or "Corporation" or "Business" means Calibration.

1.2.    "Common Shares" shall mean the common shares in the capital stock.

1.3.    "Board" shall mean the Board of Directors of the Corporation.

1.4.    "Articles" means the legal formation documents that were filed to
                 create the corporation.

1.5.    "this Agreement", "hereto", "herein", "hereby", "hereunder", "hereof",.

1.6.    "Special Directors' Resolution" shall mean a resolution passed at a.

1.7.    "Unanimous Directors' Resolution" shall mean a resolution passed at a.

Select the text. On the Format menu, click Paragraph. Click the
Indents and Spacing tab. Enter the desired value for Spacing Before
(or After, whichever you prefer). Make sure that the Line Spacing is
what you want. Click OK.

Note that if you are setting up numbering using styles (see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html), you
can specify the desired spacing for each of those styles.
