Hi. I am using Word 2007 and I am having a problem that was already present
in 2003 but I thought it would be fixed. The problem is the following:
I have inserted a lot of images in a document. And now that im in the middle
of finishing the document I was going to insert the captions in sequence.
However Word sequences images in the order that they were inserted. But more
than a few times I put an image I inserted later in a place at the beggining
and the result is that Word numbers that image number 40 (for example) when
in the readers orders it is number 10 (for example).
How can I fix this? Is there someway to access where the document specifies
the order in which the images were inserted? Please help, thank you.

Captions created for objects in the drawing layer will also be in the
drawing layer--in text boxes actually. And the SEQ fields used for
numbering will number according to the relative position of text box
anchors. So what you have to do is display object anchors and drag them
into the correct position.
