I got a bit ahead of myself. Consider this:
4. ACTIONS
1.1 General Instructions
• All personnel working in or around Sections/Segments of the Dead
Main and its associated structures (e.g. manholes, pump
stations, pits,
excavations) shall know and keep to the relevant Work
Instructions;
• No Person who has not completed the required training and been
assessed as competent shall:
1. Isolate or Re commission the Main Conduit;
2. Perform a Risk Assessment;
3. Authorise entry to OR
• Perform an atmospheric test on OR
• Supervise work within or on OR
• Take part in a rescue or attempted rescue from
any Section/Segment of the Main Conduit.
I can get the numbered paragraphs to restart numbering e.g.
1. Isolate or Recommission the Main Conduit;
but the Outline Numbered Headings will not number correctly e.g.
4. ACTIONS
1.1 General Instructions
I am quite happy to supply a copy of the template if someone emails me at
rickduley@gmail.com
That might make it a bit easier to figure out what I have done wrong. I did
work through Shauna Kelly's page on creating numbered headings and I thought
I had things right.
All help appreciated

Set up the numbered and bulleted styles so that they are part of the
same list; then the restarts should work correctly.
