MS Office Forum / Word / Numbering / July 2007Page numbering missing
Hi, I'm running Word 11.3.5 on my Mac. For some odd reason, I'm missing the Page Numbering function under the Insert menu. I don't know when this happened or how it happened. Any idea of how I recover this function? Thanks, David Well, I could tell you that Insert | Page Numbers is not recommended (it is preferable to use the Insert Page Number button on the Header and Footer toolbar to put the page number directly in the footer instead of in a frame), but there are times when access to the dialog is helpful, so see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/RestoreMenuCmd.htm  SignatureSuzanne S. Now, the "Insert pages" command is right there for me. Again, thanks so much for your assistance.
