MS Office Forum / Word / Numbering / March 2008footnotes
I use the Windows 2003 to write-up long texts with many foot notes. In the last days at any text, after a certain amount of notes, the system does not work. The number of a certain footnote is repeated on the text ( the first error) without place to write the foot note below ( second error). Who helps me? Many thanks in advance A. Estácio dos Reis estacioreis@netcabo.pt When I have problems with footnotes and I didn't create the document, I check Tools | Options | Compatibility and I make sure it's set to Word 2003. Anything else, will make them act weird, missing numbers, missing the divider line, etc. Besides that, I don't know what could be wrong.
