Can anyone let me know how to number the lines within a
cell of table.  Similar to line numbers for page but
inside cell?

To number these lines you should first create your table.
After the table is created, highlight the first column and
then go to format -> bullets and numbering to get the
numbers to where they are only inserted for the rows.  If
you try numbering them first or numbering them with the
whole table highlighted you'll end up with a number for
every single cell in your table.  Does this help?
