Hi,
before finding out about frames I used text boxes to insert anchored
graphics with a related caption including figure numbering. Now when I want
to add a cross refence to a graphics/figure caption, only the ones based on
frames show up in the list. Is this by design, i.e. I have to change the
text boxes to frames, or can I fix this any other way?

Thanks,
Goran Ekstrom

Word can't "see" text in text boxes, so yes, you'll need to convert the text
boxes to frames.
