Book with several sections. First page of each chapter (odd page-right) I
have set the Header/Footer not to show the Chapter title on that first page
(different first page).

Section Break (Odd Page-right) ends on page 115. Page number in footer
following 115 is blank (even Page-left). New Chapter starts on odd page 117
(odd page-right). When Printed (Print Preview), the page number is not shown
on the even page (116) which looks funny. This happens in several following
chapters.

I have tried to compare Section Break and Header/Footer settings on each
Section break and they all seem the same. The problem is only on the
chapters where the text of the chapter ends on the odd page and the
following page will be an even numbered blank page.
Can I get settings to show the page number on all pages?
Thank you,
Patti

Hi Patti

By default Word makes the extra pages it inserts to make pages odd or even
completely blank. The alternative is to make your section breaks 'next page'
and use a field to insert an extra page break if required. For full details

Thank you Margaret.
I also worked around this by using empty paragraphs to push the "page
break - odd page" to the top of the even page. I then get a blank left hand
(odd) page but the page number is printed.
