I am using Word 2003 and would like to have 2 page-
numbering schemes within a document:  one that numbers
the pages in a section using the header and the other
that uses the footer for the page number for the whole
document.

I attempted to following 291283 from the
support.microsoft.com page
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-
US;291283) but am not using the same version. These
directions are for 2002.

Does anyone know if these directions work in Word 2003?
Or even better, is there an easier way?

Hi Amy,

The information in that KnowledgeBase article is applicable to all vesions
of Word.  The methods given in the article are as good as any.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
