I need to be able to email one document that has
-a coverpage
-a TOC
-summary pages numbered with i, ii, iii, etc
-body of document numbered with 1,2,3... starting at 1
-appendices with seperate numbering system
How will with work with Word 2000? The page number system
seems too simple...

1. Use section breaks for each "section" of
numbering...i.e. after coverpage, and TOC.
2. Use page breaks for each part of the summary section
(for example to include glossary of terms or some other
extra pages).
The summary will remain continuous, and any added pages
(page breaks) will remain numbered.
3. Un-check the box that says "Show Number on First Page"
for every section in which there is to be no number.
In this way, the document has been defined as:
Section 1: CoverPage, (1 page, Don't show number on 1st pg)
Section 2: TOC, (1 pg, Don't show number on 1st page)
Section 3: Summary (Several pages, Show Number on 1st)
Section 4: Body (several pages, Show Number on 1st)
