I need to figure out how to add a page number to a specified number...
I am trying to create a consecutive pages, so if i take the current
page (x) plus the constant page (last page of previous document)... it
should work.

However, I cannot figure out what variable to use or how to tell the
formula "pagenumber" does anyone know? or have any other ideas...

any help would be great!
Thanks.

You can specify a starting number for your page numbers.
Place the insertion point in the footer, or in the header,
depending on where your page numbers reside, and click the
Format page number button in the Header/Footer toolbar.
Specify the desired value. This must be done manually for
each document (except, of course, for the first document
in a sequence).

Another option is to take a look at the thread
titled "Page numbering of subdocuments" at:

http://www.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-
8&threadm=VA.000008ca.00c6bf65%
40default&rnum=3&prev=/groups%3Fas_q%3Dpage%2520numbering%
2520includetext%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26lr%3D%26hl%3Den

(Note that the above link is broken as a result of text
wrap. Make sure you copy the entire link, line by line,
into your browser's address window! If you don't want to
copy the link, simply go to www.google.com and use the
search feature.)

Note that the second approach means creating a calculated
page number, which will not be reflected in a table of
contents field.

Hope this helps...
