I have a user who is having a problem with page numbering
reseting whenever an index is updated with f9.

The document is in two sections and page numbering is set
to continue from previous.  The index whenver updated with
F9 causes the section 2 page numbering to start over at
number 1.  I don't understand why the continue from
previous keeps being removed when the index is updated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

G'day "Drew Pruitt" <drew.pruitt@wnco.com>,

Probably document corruption. The simplest fix is the maggie -
cuttenpaste all text from a section EXCEPT the last paramark to a new
document and rebuild your document that way. Save as RTF is also a
neat trick to clean up a lot of garbage as well. Ensure you are not
running with Fast Saves turned on (Tools > Options > Save).
