I am using Word XP and Word 2003 on several different machines. I hav
created several documents which rely on Word style sheets fo
formatting (.dot) and are all linked to one style sheet. When I try t
apply a different style sheet, with a different name (containing th
same style names) Word appears to freeze. The application stop
responding and appears to take 90-100% of the processor time. Th
application remains in this state until the application is forced t
quit (MS Office Application Recovery).
I have also tried several file formats and templates, all resulting i
freezing or crashing? Please, any help, would be appreciated.
How can I "stabilize" the documents? I want to apply a new style shee
without having errors.
