Do you know how to search a particular newsgroup (such as
this one on numbering) for a certain keyword without
actually going to each page and then 'find' on each page,
as I feel it may save time for all who use this website,
because sometimes the solution to the problem (or a
similar one) may already have been answered before.
Also, is it possible to search a keyword in multiple
newsgroups (i.e.say a keyword 'table' in
groups 'numbering' as well as 'graphics'?
Thanks

Hi vijay,
Go to Google, click on Groups, and then use advanced groups search. You will
be able to do both the things you mention, and more besides.

As you are accessing from the dreadful web portal, you will get much better
results if you access the server directly via your newsreading application
(OE?) See http://www.gmayor.com/MSNews.htm, but as Dayo says the whole
archive is available via Google groups.
