MS Office Forum / Word / Numbering / March 2004Page numbers in TOC on level 1 but not on level 2 headings
Hi, I want to make a TOC as follows 1. The first line.......................4 a. problem 1 b. problem 2 2. The second line..................6 a. solution 1 b. solution 2 I can make only a TOC with or without page numbering but not the one I decribed above. As the article says, even when you grasp the idea of the switch to omit numbering, it is far from obvious that if you want to omit it from just one level, you have to express that level as a range anyway (2-2).
