I have a document that I need to add page numbers to. I
have a title page, an abstract page, the main body of the
document, and a reference page.
I have finally figured out how to have the page numbering
only on the main body of the document (beginning with
#1), but I cannot figure out how to remove the page
numbering from the reference page.

Peggy,
You can insert a section break at the end of your main
body and remove numbering in the new section. In the
header and footer of the new section be sure to
uncheck "Same as Previous" or "Link to previous."
