I'm trying to Right align a date while leaving the main sentence left aligned
all on the same line. How do I do this.

Set a right-aligned tab at the right margin (see
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/SettingTabs.htm). Then type
the left part of the line, a tab character, and the date.
