Using JPGs for a Word Template Behind Tx - 27 Feb 2007 19:59 GMT
Hello,

I am trying to create a word template for a proposal in which a jpg is used
as the background image for each page. I was able to do this by inserting the
images to the header/footer, now, however, I would like for there to be
seperate images denoting seperate sections of my presentation. i.e. i would
like for there to be one image on the first 10 pages of the presentation, and
another on the 2nd 10 pages, etc.

Is there a way to format the header footers so that what you put into the
box is only viable for the next "x" ammount of pages????

Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

If you want a different footer or header, say, between page 10 and 11, then
you insert a section break after page 10. Then, display the header or footer
(wherever the graphic resides), and click the Link to Previous button in the
Header and Footer toolbar to toggle it OFF. That done, the two adjacent
sections can now have different headers and footers.

This is sort of working but there seem to be a lot of kinks. Currently my
document is 14 pages when not viewing the header footer but 16 when I am
working on the header footer....

Any help trouble shooting this or why the case may be would be much
appreciated. I am going nuts!!!
